History

The Plum City Food Pantry was started in December of 2008. Its first home was in the Plum City Evangelical Free Church. The Pantry moved to its current location in June of 09.

We currently serve an average 65 families per month and distribute more than 8,000 pounds of food per month. Last year the Pantry distributed over 100,000 pounds of food.

We receive "free" food from TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) which is a government agency. We purchase food from 2nd Harvest Heartland, The Emergency Foodshelf Network and Walmart. We purchase food  for our Hispanic customers from ALDI Foods

We are open each Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM, except for the second Thursday when we are open from 3-7 PM.
